So, today is Labor Day and I keep thinking about how April was a month so full of non paid work... [lol] It was a crazy month, I have to say... But so joyful!
April was spent on a pattern testing frenzy for several indie designers. I love to test new patterns - it is so much fun and hard work, and I love all the camaraderie around the testing group, oh, and working with a deadline (I always work better under stress...).
It seems like May is going to be a month devoted to some self-care sewing! So many women clothing challenges out there for this month!

Hoje é dia do Trabalhador e dei-me conta que Abril foi um mês cheio de trabalho não remunerado... (lol) Foi um mês de "loucos", devo dizer... mas muito bom!
Abril foi passado a numa maratona de testes a moldes de roupa de criança de designers independentes (sim, outra vez... tal como Março tinha sido)... Gosto muito, muito, de testar moldes - é super divertido e dá muito trabalho, e gosto muito de todo o ambiente de camaradagem entre as várias costureiras do grupo de testes, ah, e gosto de ter que trabalhar com um prazo (trabalho sempre melhor debaixo de stress...).
E, como vem a ser hábito este ano no início de cada mês, aqui vai a lista de séries e desafios de costura para o mês de Maio, para roupa de criança ou de mulher (ver acima).
Está a escapar-me algum desafio? Digam, para poder acrescentar aqui!

ReplyDeleteObrigada, Rita! Comecei a fazer numa folha de papel fixada no meu quadro de cortiça, para me orientar... Mas depois pensei que de certeza que haveriam mais pessoas interessadas em saber o que há por aí e que perderiam tanto tempo como eu a encontrar as coisas - é sempre tanta coisa e tão disperso... E então decidi começar a partilhar aqui no blog (no fim/início de cada mês). Assim é mais fácil - está tudo num sítio. Sou completamente a favor da partilha e de não guardar as coisas só para mim! :)
