The Tulip Top

Hi! In case you're wondering, baby #4 is almost out! (Any day now! Eeeek!) but I am full active, nesting and doing a major cleaning here at home, but I am finding some time to sew! So, today I am joining the Tulip International Blog Tour and sharing my version of the Tulip top!

The Tulip Top & Dress is a brand new pattern by two Belgian ladies - Eva and Katrien (links below). This pattern was first launched in Dutch and I was really in love with it because of all the versions I was seeing on social media. So, when they contacted me to be one of the proofreaders for the English version I was thrilled!! After a couple of weeks of work, this beautiful pattern is finally been released in English this week!

Tulip Dress & Top, by With Love by Eva and Kaatjenaaisels.

This fabric has been on my fabric vault for one year now. It is by Sevenberry, a Japanese fabric brand, and it was gifted last year on my birthday by my super talented friend Diana, who blogs over Miss Castelinhos

I love this pattern! It is gorgeous - you got to love that crossed tulip-shaped petals on the chest!

This pattern offers two versions and two different closures: dress and top, and invisible zipper or buttons. I have opted for a top thistime, so she can wear it with shorts, skirts and leggings (she is wearing jeggings on these photos).

The pattern is really well built. The instructions are clear and thorough. I loved the techniques used! These ladies know their business!

Sizes available: 12m to 10Y.

Don't miss the great line up for this tour! I am in love with all these different versions!

And there is a little treat for you! You can find this pattern here and get 10% off! (Use code HAPPYTULIP, valid until October 9.)

Happy sewing!
