Today is day 5 of Alice in Wonderland sewing series! Are you being inspired? So many amazing creations so many ideas, so little time...
First today we have Tara from Girl Like The Sea with two lovely practical creations. A Cheshire stripes-on-stripes cat and a flowers & mushrooms inspired Alice outfit. :)
I think I found Tara on her first spread at Stylo magazine and I immediately fell in love with her style and writing. Tara makes great outfits for her adorable kids (you should follow them on Instagram for a daily dose of cuteness) and she also has an amazing talent for drawing (you can find some of her art work over shop and a few fun stencils for free on her blog).
Hop to Girl Like The Sea 's blog to see all the details on these two outfits and also some poems and quotes from an amazing vintage Alice's Adventures In Wonderland book.
Jenya from While She Was Sleeping made a classic floral dress - a sober beautiful take on Alice's story. My girls would definitely wear that!
I met Jenya on the Spring of 2014 and we immediately connected. We have very similar tastes regarding sewing and I really wish we wouldn't live right across the globe because she is one of those sewing blogging friends with whom I would love to chat while seeping a tea. Dear Scientists of the world (whom I am sure are reading this right now :) ), can you please speed up on the invention of a teletransportation machine? Thank you. I can pay you with... handmade clothes. :)
Go to While She Was Sleeping to check this gorgeous Alice inspired dress!
Thank you Tara and Jenya for joining this series! I really loved your outfits!

Happy sewing!
I wouldn't mind at all if such machine was invented in time for a little trip tomorrow! I just finished cleaning the house so that I could sew tomorrow... I can think of a lovely sewing friend I would love to meet in person and to sew with ;) Maybe we can finally start on our jackets!!
