It's day 3 of Alice in Wonderland Sewing Series (read more about it here) and we have two more amazing bloggers!
I hope you are enjoying this fun sewing event that celebrates the 150th anniversary of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland children book. And don't forget to take your chances on the giveaway (below): two winners will get 7 PDF patterns each!
"Drink me!", she read on the bottle. And as she drank, Alice got smaller and smaller...
First up today we have Suzanne from Sewpony blog. Suzanne lives in Australia and has a passion for vintage patterns and style, which shows on her own PDF pattern label " Sewpony Vintage".
Suzanne designs modern kids clothes patterns inspired by a vintage style. I have already made the Little Betty Top (not blogged yet), the Sunday Picnic dress (here) and last week I shared my version of her last pattern, the Dear Prudence dress (here). And the best news is: you can win one Sewpony pattern of your choice! (See the giveaway at the bottom of this post.)
Head over Sewpony to read all about this dress! I love the fabric on the skirt and all the lovely details!
It's Tea Party Time!
Victoria from As It Seams blog got so excited about this Alice themed sewing series that she has made not only one creation but several! Throughout these last weeks she shared some teaser photos on Instagram (by the way look for #aliceinwonderlandsewing to see some WIP photos and sneak peeks of what it is to come!) of the most gorgeous vintage tablecloths and napkins... And now we can finally see what she created with them! It is absolutely amazing!
I think I found Victoria's blog because of her sewing series Take One Dress. And then I just kept following her closely because of her wonderful creations, our common passion for Japanese sewing patterns and nani IRO's fabrics, and because of her beautiful writing... It is such a delight reading Victoria's blog posts...
Hop to As It Seams to see this dress and... another one! They are both absolutely lovely...
And, it seems there are going to be a few more things in the coming days, just saying! :)
