Alice in Wonderland - Sewing Series Day 1

Hi everyone! It's day One for the Alice in Wonderland Sewing series! And we are kicking off this week with two amazing creations!

Do I spy a Cheshire Cat? :) That purple swirl skirt looks amazing!


First up is Ajaire from Call Ajaire. I have been following Ajaire's blog for a long time and I always admire the things she makes for her beautiful daughter. 

Her blog has lots of great content. Recently I tried the Lattice Smocking technique for the first time following her tutorial here. (And you can see what I've made here.) 

You should check Ajaire's fun monthly mashUp  series where she picks two PDF patterns and mixes them up to create a unique piece of garment. Amazing!

Ajaire just released her debut pattern - the Paneled suit! It is one of the patterns being offered on this series giveaway (see below), just sayin'. :)

That is a stunning photo... and an absolutely gorgeous creation from Olga of Kid Approved. 

Olga has become a good friend although we have never met in person (yet :) ). She has a passion for all the creative process around sewing and for photography and that shows on her blog posts, in everything she does for her kids. Olga really knows how to sew and has a great taste regarding style and fabric choices. 

She is also a pattern designer of two patterns that are on my favorite patterns list - the Mulberry tunic and the Antalya dress (on the shop). You can see my versions of both here and here. :)
