The Origami Sweater

I finally made something for kid #1! This boy is one of the most sweetest, patient, caring persons I know. A couple of years ago he used to ask who is it for every time I was assembling a pattern or cutting fabric. Then he just stopped asking. So sad, right? I have said it before: worst mom in the world here. When I saw the testing call from Misusu Patterns for this a.m.a.z.i.n.g sweater *I knew* I had to make it for him! 

Once Upon a Pixel Mini Quilt

It's no news I have a (huge) thing for sewing books. I tend to hoard them almost like I hoard fabric. And buttons. :) Today I am sharing a mini quilt project I made inspired by a new book, the Once Upon a Pixel by Sugaridoo and Studio Koekoek. A New Lion Friend From The Urban Jungle Animal Doll Pattern Collection

Welcome to the jungle! Well, for now I have only made this lion but I already have several requests from all the kids (and hubby!) to make several other animal soft toys from this a.m.a.z.i.n.g collection of soft toys patterns! 

Today I am sharing this lion doll I made for my little one. I made it while testing this pattern for Petit a Petit and it was supposed to be a Christmas gift but...I couldn't wait to give it to him! Can you tell how much he loves it? <3 He is all hugs and kisses, it's so fun to watch!
