Alice in Wonderland - Sewing Series Day 7

Are you enjoying all the Alice in Wonderland sewing so far? So much inspiration and creativity!

I am truly thankful for all these amazing bloggers who decided to join this crazy idea of celebrating the 150th of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with a sewing bloggers event

How amazing is that dress? That perfect shade of blue and those stripes?...

Karly from Paisley Roots is one of the coolest and nicest bloggers I know and she always does the most amazing cool outfits for her kids - all five of them! Have you seen her spread on the last issue of Stylo? She managed to make so many outfits and they are all fantastic. You can tell that she really loves sewing and all the creativity process around it.
Do you know Paisley Roots Designs? Karly has two dress patterns that I love - the Saffron Twirl dress (not blogged yet) and the All Spice dress that I got to test and blogged about here. It is still one of my favorites! And the best part is, you can get both on the giveaway below!

Head to Paisley Roots blog to see this beautiful dress in detail!

This is so Alice! And yet it is something my girls could wear to school. It is practical and adorable at the same time!

Maria from La Inglesita is the next guest in this Alice in Wonderland series. She lives in Spain, which makes her a neighbour of mine. :) Which, by the way, reminds me that we really should make an Iberian Sewing meeting! Having lots of Spanish and Portuguese sewing bloggers together would be heaps of fun and loud talking! And lots of eating tapas and drinking sangria too. :)

I found Maria's blog a long time ago through S is for Sewing blog (one of my favorite blogs, from my good blogging friend Ana Sofia) and I have been following her sewing creations ever since. Maria now owns an online shop - Telaria - where you can find some of the best European fabric, notions and paper patterns!

Go to La Inglesita where you can find all the details about this outfit!

Finally, we have my dear friend Marta from DoGuincho and her practical outfit inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Isn't it so cool?

Marta is a fellow Portuguese and we have been (blogging) friends for a long time now. She is one of the bloggers I talk to almost on a daily basis, about sewing and life. I am super excited for finally being able to meet her in person this next week! (Eeeeekk!!)

I found Marta because of her popular 3D Pleated Summer Dress tutorial - a cool version of a smocking technique. I was immediately in love with her blog and all the cool and modern style outfits she makes for her two girls. Her sense of fabric choices and use of color is always perfect.

Marta has one PDF pattern of her own - the Bubble shorts (which I have made countless times) - that she generously offered for this series giveaway (try your chances below!).

Hop over DoGuincho to read everything about this outfit!
