The ASH Jumpsuit

Isn't this pattern a-m-a-z-i-n-g?
This is the ASH jumpsuit, a new pattern from Celina from Petit à Petit + Family for the Willow & Co's debut collection (to be released April 22), and I was one of the lucky testers.

Celina is one of the most talented ladies I have seen all over the online sewing community. Her creativity is amazing and I kind of envy her for that... (In a good way!) :)
Go check her blog, her recent post on her family background, and - prepare yourself to be amazed - her entries for the Project Run & Play (w1, w2, w3 and w4). See what I mean?...

Now, the ASH jumpsuit. I love its design! It is so fashion forward!
This is a pattern you have to have in your girls wardrobe for this Spring/Summer.

The ASH has an halter neckline, elasticized waist and hem, and comes in two versions - jumpsuit or top + pants. Further options are: with or without in-seam pockets, and elasticized waist, regular hem or cuffed hem for the top.
It will be available for sizes 6mo up to 12 years!
I chose an ikat printed voile. It has such a soft touch and beautiful drape...
I made the top + pants version (not the jumpsuit). Both were cut from the same fabric. It took me hours to decide which part of the print I was going to use for each piece... First I was going to use the bold print for the trousers but then I decided to use it for the top. I just love the outcome!

This phoshoot was not easy... She was not in the mood... (Can´t blame her actually... It is not easy to be a seamstress+blogger's kid...  I bet you know what I mean... Oh, wait, and I just assumed myself as being a seamstress and a blogger... Humm...)
I was about to give up and said to her "Oh just do whatever you want..." and the result was this...

She just loves to dance! (Can't you tell she is taking ballet classes?...)

So, this is the ASH jumpsuit. Gorgeous, right?

Please have a look to all other ASH jumpsuits my fellow testers created:

Ela começou a dançar!

Rita Pirolita (Outra portuguesa!)
